Form Editor: Design Context
Introduction
The Design Context is the default context displayed in the Form Editor. This context provides you a visual interface to rapidly assemble components and lay them out in your form, evaluating your layout as you make changes.
Three Design Panels
The Design Context is divided into three sections (Figure 1):
- Form Component Tree Panel
- Component Editor Panel
- Preview Panel
Each of these panels will be discussed in the following sections.
Making Room
To avoid obscuring important information while laying out components, you may want to expand the left pane of the Form Editor which contains the Form Component Hierarchy Panel and the Component Editor Panel.
