EchoStudio Overview (2/3)

Creating internationalized web applications has never been easier.

Localization is a pervasive theme throughout EchoStudio. You can easily localize all strings when building forms, and even set the preview pane to render with different locales.

Build with style.

The Style Sheet Editor lets you create reusable styles that may be applied to any component in any form. You can define styles for widgets such as text fields and buttons and then simply assign the style to the widgets instead of setting each property manually on each instance. Changing a style will cause all widgets that use it to be instantaneously updated.

Just push play.

Launching applications from within EchoStudio is a single-click operation. Just press the 'Run' button and the application will be deployed to EchoStudio's internal servlet container. Once deployed, an external browser window will open with a new session of the application.

Fully extensible.

Component libraries such as EchoPoint, Sierra, and the File Transfer Library plug right in to EchoStudio. Properties of add-on components are automatically introspected and may be edited using the built-in property editors. Developers of component libraries can even opt to provide additional property editors for specialized properties such as models.
