Sierra extends the featureset of NextApp's Echo framework to bring greater rich-client capabilities to Web-based applications:
- Sierra's General-purpose components, such as
CalendarDateField and PagedTable complement the features of Echo and EchoPoint technologies to quickly create powerful and intuitive user interfaces.
- AppKit component enable the rapid creation of applications by providing components to lay out user interfaces in an aesthetically pleasing fashion.
- The Intranet Applications Demonstrator takes developers on a walk-through of the creation of a complex series of intranet applications. Documentation is provided to explain the ideas involved in building a large application, including tips and techniques for success.
